BROUGHT THIS FROM FACEBOOK

I have to share this! I received a phone call from 609-546-8688. After saying hello a recorded message starts running. "There has been suspicious information coming out of your computer! It is not recommended that you visit any financial sites until after you have contacted our Microsoft Representative. We can clean your computer and make it safe for use again. Press 1 to be connected to our Microsoft representative." NOW they are even making this as an automated message! Folks please do not fall for this or any PHONE CALLS telling you something is wrong with your computer. Unless you are paying for a managed service contract that allows monitoring of your computer, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ANYONE to know that your computer is having problems except you! If you are in doubt call a computer tech that you know. Like me! Please share this with everyone you know. Do not let them RIP OFF your hard earned money with scary information that makes you feel you must call them back. IT IS SCAM!!!

IN ADDITION: Popups on your computer that tell you to call Microsoft for assistance are also Scam! do not call them either. Turn off your computer and call a tech you know and trust. Never, Ever let someone remote into your computer unless you know the person who is remoting in.
